An Introduction to Team PBO: Daniel “The Legend” Marsola

The Legend, as many call him, likes to go by a simpler name, Daniel “Dan” Marsola. He has been bearding for “almost 6 years or so and there’s no looking back!” He is a family man with his ever supporting Megan and his two beautiful daughters. PBO caught Dan’s eye from the beginning, “The scents weren’t the usual ones you’d see from a beard oil company. You know all the woodsy scents. I knew they were going in a different direction and I love that. Don’t be afraid to stand out!” Not long after that initial contact it was a wrap, “I’ve been with the team since September of 2015.”The Legend started as the West Coast Ambassador spreading the word on PBO in beard competitions state wide. “Helping to expand the brand, that’s my job. I also rep them in beard comps and also table for them at competitions.” He thinks of Team PBO as family, “We’re a small tight group of people. I can honestly say we all have a real connection. We’re all involved in one another’s lives. To me, that will always put us above the rest!”

Dan, as many of us, enjoys a nice cold beer, but not just any. He is a Craft beer lover that also homebrews, “Competitive bearding is my most recent hobby, but besides that I’m a homebrewer. Beards and beers go hand in hand!” As for aspirations, we can all relate to his, “I aspire to keep moving forward and advance my life in any and all aspects.” To ensure a good future he works for the Covina Valley School District. “Hope is the last thing a person does before they’re defeated” by Henry Rollins is his favorite quote, that should tell you enough about the legend.
